What is SCRYPTIC
A hackathon that rewards what we live by:
code you can trust.
SCRYPTIC is Digiscrypt's flagship hackathon, now in Season II — and this one is entirely ours. Our first season was AITM CodeFest 2025, a national online hackathon we ran as the organizing partner. Most hackathons ask "does the demo work?" We go further: we reward teams that build things that are secure, well-engineered, and real. Whether you're into AppSec, AI, open source, or building products from scratch, there's a track for you.
Win more than cash
A ₹39,999 prize pool — plus the chance to work with Digiscrypt and land an internship with our engineering team.
Build for the real world
Problem statements drawn from real engineering and security challenges — not toy prompts.
Learn from practitioners
Mentor check-ins during the build sprint and a judging panel that actually reviews your code.
Choose your battlefield
Five tracks. One standard: trust.
Security runs through every track — but there's room for everyone, from first-time hackers to seasoned builders. Pick one track per team.

Good questions
Frequently asked.
Who can participate?
Anyone in India who loves to build — students, freshers, and working professionals. It's a national, fully online hackathon, so you can join from anywhere.
How big can a team be?
One to four members. You can enter solo, or add up to three teammates when you register. Larger ideas, smaller egos — your call.
What does the entry fee cover, and how much is it?
It's a one-time fee per team, based on team size. Early-bird (until 15 July): ₹149 / ₹259 / ₹359 / ₹459 for 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 members. Regular (from 15 July): ₹199 / ₹359 / ₹459 / ₹559. It covers dashboard access, participation across all five tracks, mentorship, and a certificate of participation. The prize pool, internships, and the chance to work with Digiscrypt are rewards earned by winners and top performers — they're what you compete for, not part of the fee.
Do I need to be a security expert?
No. Security runs through the event, but tracks like Open Innovation and AI welcome all skill levels. You'll be judged partly on how trustworthy your build is — and we'll help you get there.
How does judging work?
Round 1 is an idea/deck screening. Shortlisted teams build a project online and submit it; the strongest projects become finalists and present to our panel in the Grand Finale — scored on innovation, technical depth, security & code quality, impact, and presentation.
What do I get if I win?
A share of the ₹39,999 prize pool, the opportunity to work with Digiscrypt, internship fast-tracks for top performers, and certificates for everyone who completes the hackathon.
When and where does it happen?
Entirely online. Registration runs 20 June – 30 July 2026, with the online build round through August and the Grand Finale presentation round, and results announced around 7 September 2026.
Loved building? Don't stop at the hackathon.
Digiscrypt Labs is our paid training & internship platform — 30–45 day online programs in Full-Stack Web, Cross-Platform Mobile, and AI/GenAI. Build a real industry project with our engineers and finish with a portfolio piece, a certificate, and placement prep.
